Face to Face Needs Analysis

Language Assessment

  • Initial language competence assessment testing:
    1. Vocabulary range
    2. Grammar knowledge
    3. Fluency
    4. Accuracy
    5. Confidence in the language
    6. Pronunciation
  • You will be given a level in the language based on a Skills and Proficiency Chart levels.
  • This stage will determine the choice of teacher best suited to your needs and personality.

Course Start

  • The teacher will contact you to agree the date and time of the first lesson.
  • You will receive your own learning folder.

Language Learning Programme

  • First lessons and further discussions with you will allow your teacher to design:
    1. A bespoke training programme.
    2. Corresponding teaching material which is ordered and delivered directly to you by ProLang.

Feedback

Your course manager will ask you to complete a feedback form allowing you to comment on your learning experience. This helps the training team to identify any further specific tutoring requirements necessary to help achieve the original goal.

Progress Report

  • Linguistic skills are assessed at the end of each booking of 30 hours of tutoring.
  • Your progress report will detail:
    1. Your new language level and proficiency at the end of each booking in the 6 Skills which will allow you to measure your progress.
    2. Suggestions for further study if necessary and individual comments.

Examinations

ProLang can prepare students seeking examination qualifications from: The French Institute; Instituto Cervantes; Goethe Institut and the Instituto Italiano di Cultura and Cambridge Certificates for English as a foreign language.
